I believe that my role as a physician is to be a conduit through which you feel supported, autonomous and informed on your journey to healthy living. As a licensed Naturopath and Acupuncturist, my goal is to optimize wellness and restore balance through integrating modern science, the law of nature and the inherent wisdom of the body. I am trained as a primary care family doctor, and I welcome patients of all ages, but my passion and life work is helping girls and women cultivate meaningful and personal relationships with their bodies (physically, psychologically and spiritually). I specialize in assisting girls and women through transformative times in their life: puberty, postpartum care and motherhood, menopause, and all women’s healthcare needs. I have drawn on my training from various teachers, mentors and life experiences to craft a fully unique style of practicing.
I am registered as a Naturopathic Physician in the state of Oregon and hold a Diplomate of Acupuncture from the NCCAOM, and am licensed in Acupuncture in the state of Oregon. I am a Wholistic Pelvic Care practitioner, and am a certified Beautiful You: From Girl to Woman ceremony leader where I host mother-daughter groups to educate and celebrate menarche.
I can treat a variety of conditions, but am not limited to:
Anxiety, fatigue, depression, thyroid issues, auto-immune conditions, chronic pain, digestive problems, constipation, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, food sensitivities, headaches and migraines, allergies, asthma, eczema and psoriasis, weight control, insomnia or sleep disturbances, PMS, menstrual irregularities, fertility and pregnancy, hormonal imbalances, libido.
I can also treat many acute illnesses such as colds, flus, sore throats and sinus infections.
I combine within the treatment plan a combination of: emotional support, nutritional recommendations, lifestyle counseling, western and Chinese botanical medicine, hydrotherapy, cranial-sacral therapy, biotherapeutic drainage, acupuncture, wholistic pelvic floor therapy and nutraceuticals.
Our first visit will allow adequate time to discuss your current health concerns and you will leave with an individualized and comprehensive treatment plan. Diagnostic lab tests are commonly ordered and once we establish fundamental pieces of your whole health picture we can direct subsequent visits to support your healing process and needs.
